Character Name: Clove
-----
Character Age: Unknown(Somewhere from 4-6[probably around 5] years, if she kept track)
-----
Gender: Female
-----
Desired Character Clan: Loner
-----
Desired Position: N/A
-----
Short Character Description: A brown broken mackerel tabby with a white underbelly and light green eyes.
-----
Character Description:
Clove's fur is a light dusky brown, with black stripes going all over her sides. Most of these stripes are broken into spots, but not enough to make her a spotted tabby. She has white fur all along her belly, spreading out further to the sides along her chest so that the edges of her shoulders are white. Her front legs are white,(only her hind feet are white) although her shoulders are brown and there are patches of brown and striping down the outside of her legs. The white narrows at her throat, although the front is still completely white. Her jaw is white, which extends into a patch between her eyes. There's a brown smudge on the left(when facing her) side of her nose. She has light green eyes, and the tip of her right(once again, when facing her) ear has been cut off in a straight line. Her frame is small and somewhat stocky, although even when well-fed she still doesn't generally look too pudgy. Currently she's definitely on the thin side, unhealthily so. Her legs and shoulders are well-muscled from running, jumping, and climbing constantly. Her scent is extremely noticeably different from even other female loners', due to the fact that she has been spayed. She is also immune to a fair variety of diseases due to vaccinations.
-----
Character Personality:
Clove tends to be quite the calm individual. She very rarely gets outwardly angry, or even annoyed. She is patient with everyone she meets, and can continue to be helpful and polite even when others due nothing but attempt to annoy her. Instead, she insists on being generally lighthearted. Despite this, she is extremely careful and wary of her surroundings. If there are any signs of trouble, she will most likely run if the option is at all available. Since she is easily overpowered in a fight, she tries to avoid starting conflicts if she can, and will go along with whatever others want her to do, fleeing if she does something wrong. Her kindness is generally genuine, but when she's comfortable enough around an individual to not be completely submissive and agreeable, she will show a snarky side that can sometimes(although very rarely) get quite nasty depending on the situation. However, if she crosses any lines, it can be expected that she will give an honest apology not long later.
Her greatest loves in the world are traveling and stories. After her first home, she has only settled in any one place for any extended period of time once or twice, and even then mostly due to circumstances out of her control. There were a couple of stops that she wouldn't have minded settling down at, but soon enough her paws will start to itch and she will be on the move again. Mapping out new land has always been exciting for her in ways she can barely describe. Despite this, the entire point of her travels is to search for a new place to call home. She is starting to fear that her search may be in vain, but as time goes on she also finds that she is starting to mind this less and less. The other thing that she adores to do is trade stories with the cats that she meets. Despite being wary of them and any other potential dangers, she loves to immediately engage them in conversation. As soon as she is able to, she will steer the conversation to talk of the past. Clove likes nothing better than to hear life stories and old legends. Due to her exceptional memory, she is capable of reciting many, if not most, of the tales she has heard, sometimes word for word. If asked, she will not hesitate to tell her own stories, since her travels have provided her with many.
Belief-wise, Clove is a mix of all sorts of beliefs that she got from other cats, just like her vocabulary. However, while she may go back and forth on which terms she'll use(especially depending on the situation), she tends to be rather set in her ways. According to her, when cats die they go to walk the skies. Up there is an alternate reality, one where hardship is but a distant memory so long as you've lived a good life. The sky is a gateway between the two worlds, but only spirits can freely travel to and from the worlds. Even then, during the day a giant and powerful spirit guards the sky and makes sure that no other spirit can get through. Its power provides light and warmth, but is so great that it must keep far away from the living cats so that it doesn't kill them all. Due to this distance, it can only be seen as the bright light known as the sun. During the night, however, the spirit must rest. It goes away, dimming its power as it hides away in its nest. With it gone, a patchwork of holes is revealed, forming stars. These stars allow spirits to pass through to the other world and back, but only they can do so. Living cats can gain access to the spirit world, but only at specific locations, and not if the moon prevents it. The moon is another spirit, this one in charge of keeping the balance between the two words and allowing travel from one reality to another. The sun often chases it away, but they still work together to create balance and harmony. The moon is more fickle, growing tired of having to deal with its job and slowly going to sleep over a cycle. While it is asleep, spirits cannot communicate with the living. When it wakes up, it takes a while to fully wake up, and by then it only takes a short time to get tired again, but during that time it allows spirits to come through as much as they want. At half-moons, it doesn't guard the gate so carefully, and certain gifted cats can use that as an opportunity to visit the spirit world from certain points. When asleep at normal locations at normal times, the lines between living and dead are blurred, and they can communicate with each other without actually traveling to the other world. The other four major spirits are Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. They chase each other in an endless cycle, with Fall scaring away Summer, Winter coming in to scare away Fall, Spring chasing away Winter, and Summer scaring Spring. They align themselves with either the Sun or Moon and depending on which of the season spirits are in power, one or the other will have more influence. They rule over lesser spirits that cause the weather. Other than that, most spirits can't actually influence the other world. When cats in the living world form groups, however, their spirits will often gather together in the same groups. These groups can together muster enough power to alter the living world in the form of signs, sometimes moving the clouds or altering the breeze's path, sometimes doing other things.
Clove's skills suit her lifestyle well enough. Although she is generally small and unassuming, she is more than capable of surviving on her own. She can run fast enough to outrun most non-feline dangers, and can outpace a majority of cats when she really wants to. Besides this, she has excellent agility, and can jump and climb really well. Her favorite form of escape is to jump or climb up a tree and fence and just jump from branch to branch(or whatever other available platform) until she has left behind pursuers. If any enemies do happen to catch up to her, however, she will mostly depend on bluffs to get out alive, puffing out her fur and hissing/growling surprisingly ferociously or playing dead to convince them to leave her alone. Although not completely useless in a fight, it is still easy to take Clove out, as she has spent her entire life avoiding conflict, which led to worse combat skills, which led to her further avoiding conflict, in a vicious circle of sorts. She does better at hunting, where she is capable of hunting enough to feed herself in a pinch. However, like her mother before her, she prefers to use her natural charisma to trick others into giving her food. A good deal of the cats that have figured out she was doing that to them have not responded kindly, which lead to Clove's entire desperation to avoid conflict.

How did you find COTN?: The tornado took my house over the rainbow.
-----
Character History:
Clove was born with two sisters, Mouse and Julius. Her mother, whom she has only known as Mama for her entire life, had found a housefolk family that was willing to feed her and her children from a previous litter, and stuck near them for her second one. She grew up around her three older sisters along with the other two, her mother, and another two cats that had fathered the litters. Clove never really bothered herself with them, although she supposed that the one named Lynx was her father, since she looked like him. The housefolk named them, fed them, and kept them safe, with the condition that when all of them reached a certain age, they would start setting out traps for the cats. Mama had never trusted them enough to get caught, but Jack, one of the males, and most of the older litter had apparently been taken. After a while, Clove and Mouse were also caught, and taken to a place known as the 'vet'. She didn't remember much of that, just that they handled her a lot and stuck things in her and she went to sleep for a while. A few hours after she woke up, she was released, minus the tip of one ear and incapable of having kittens.
She didn't mind this, since Mama always seemed so bothered by having to take care of them. The only thing she didn't like was that all of her family eventually left, either leaving for new territory, finding a new housefolk family, getting caught by predators, or being hit by cars. Mama found another place to go and have another litter, but before they were old enough to move, she became prey. The kittens were taken by housefolk. Mouse went to live with another family that fed her. Julius simply disappeared without a trace one day. Clove befriended the kittypet that the housefolk kept in their house, and they often held long conversations through a window. From there she picked up the terms 'housefolk' and 'vet', instead of 'upwalker' and 'cutter', like her mother used. When the humans got dogs, she was no longer able to stick around as much, being chased away whenever they were let out. After the much older kittypet died, she decided enough was enough and left.
From then on she has wandered, never staying in one place for more than a few days, always searching for the perfect place to settle once more.

Extra Notes: Yeah, so I might have gone a bit overboard with inventing her a loner religion? I really didn't base it on anything, but if it's too long/much/unnecessary, I can remove it/replace it with a summary.
