Emberkit pounced, and landed on a leaf."Gerr!Our clan is the best!If you disagree, this is what will happen!". She held down the leaf with one paw.She used the other to rip the leaf open."Ha!Lightningclan succeeds again!" proudly, she walked back to the nursery.She began trying to climb the nursery, but failed over and over again.She finally decided to take a nap, and fell asleep. ;D

Kestrelkit had been sleeping at Nightflower's side, but woke up slowly at the sounds her sister was making. It appeared that her mother was still getting some much-needed rest, so she decided to go and investigate the commotion by herself, never mind that there didn't appear to be anything going on anymore. She crept out of the nursery, and spotted her sister napping right there. An idea immediately formed in her mind, and she crouched down low, clumsily imitating the hunting position Nightflower had shown her. She carefully crept up on her sister, getting as close as she dared and making surprisingly little sound. Finally, she pounced on Emberkit, making a sound akin to a yowl.

Emberkit woke up to a strange yowl like noise.The fur rose on her spine.The yowl sounded as if a kit her age had done it.She turned jus in time as her sister landed on her.She playfully growled back, and wrapped her paws around Kestrelkit."Intruder! Identify yourself!" she struggled under her sisters weight."Get off!".She landed a blow above one eye, hoping to make her flinch.

Kestrelkit did indeed flich from her larger sister's blow, but she quickly rallied back, nipping at Emberkit's paws as she struggled to remain on top. "I'm a fearsome Fireclan warrior! I don't need to identify myself to the likes of you!"

Emberkit pulled back her paw.She swiped her hind legs sideways, attempting to knock down her sister."You just did, little hairball!" she insulted.She quickly swatted again, but at Kestrelkit's forehead.

Kestrelkit held on tightly to her sister as she tried to swat her off, deciding to try and wait until Emberkit tired out before subduing her. This strategy failed at Emberkit's retort. "No fair!" she whined. "You're supposed to play along!" She had more to say, but then Emberkit landed a blow straight on her forehead. Since they were both kits, it didn't do any actual damage, so it was mostly the shock of the blow landing that stunned her for a second or two.

Emberkit stopped and hopped off.She had a dangerous and fun idea."Do you wanna go catch prey, so the whole clan will be proud?' she questioned hopefully.

Kestrelkit huffed as her sister stopped the fight, annoyed that she didn't want to continue. She instantly perked up at Emberkit's next words, however, and jumped to attention. "Yeah! let's go!"

"Okay!" She meowed.She ducked, and weaved her way through the bushes.Emberkit knew it was against the rules to leave camp as a kit, but they would be proud if they brought back prey, right?They might even become early apprentices!
