Character Name: Heronpaw
Character Age: 6 moons
Gender: Male
Desired Character Clan: Forestclan
Desired Position: Apprentice
Short Character Description: A grey and white patched cat with forest green eyes.
Character Description:
Heronpaw has a build somewhere between stocky and lean, a distinction that is harder to make due to the fact that he is still somewhat plump from the nursery. He does not yet have many developed muscles, and thus looks rather weak. For a cat his age, he is average in size, and will continue to grow at an average rate to an average size. His fur is about equally light grey and white, with the grey staying mostly along his back and going down in patches. His head is mostly grey, with the exception of his jaw, which is white. All of his fur is on the longer side of short. He is in possession of a set of green eyes that take on a rather lovely shade of forest green. The rest of him is about average in general attractiveness, depending on who you ask.
Character Personality:
There are few apprentices as eager to learn as Heronpaw. He manages to take eagerness to a whole new level. In fact, training is his favorite thing in the world and any time not spent with his mentor is time wasted in his eyes. Throughout it all, he tends to remain cheerful and happy-go-lucky. It is extremely hard to ruin his almost constant good mood, although he can go to mildly annoyed fairly easily even if he does always bounce back quickly. It's hard for him to act serious, although when he does he's almost an entirely different cat. In those moments he often fully focuses on the situation at hand instead of being easily distracted like he normally is. He's good at making snap judgments and quick decisions, although they might not always be the correct ones. Heronpaw tends to stick by his choices, and once he's set it does not change his mind easily. When he gets in the right mood he is extremely talkative, enough to make any cat think twice about attempting to engage him in conversation. However, he is just as good a listener, and is willing to lend an ear to any cat that wants to get their problems off their chest. Heronpaw especially listens to those in positions of authority above him, and rarely thinks to question them. When it comes to other cats, he loves to try and form friendships with as many of them as he can, but is not the type to be generally interested in anything resembling romance. He tends not to notice the attractions of other cats, whether they're to himself or his fellow clanmates. His blithe and energetic spirit currently leaves him to distracted to even think of crushing on anyone else.
Heronpaw loves exploring the territory and enjoys trying to find every secret the forest offers. He also tends to enjoy watching the stars at night, and holds a deep faith in Starclan, even if he doesn't share a particularly strong connection with them. His favorite apprentice activity is chasing prey, closely followed by battle training. He shows a fair amount of talent in both hunting and fighting, although has no inclination to develop one over the other. Most likely he will not end up especially skilled in either category, although neither will he be merely average.
How did you find COTN?: You already know.
Character History:
Heronpaw was born as the only kit of Gullclaw and Ivynose. There was another in his litter, but it was a stillborn and Gullclaw prefers not to speak of it. She practically spoiled her son as he grew up, paying as much attention to him as he wanted and showing him around the camp often. However, she also raised him in tradition, attempting to prepare him for his apprenticeship as best as she could. He grew to respect his mother greatly and came to admire Ivynose even if they weren't close. Soon all he wanted to do was become a great warrior like his parents. His childhood was otherwise uneventful, and he became an apprentice at 6 moons like normal.
Extra Notes: Well, his pelt description was the worst thing ever, mostly because I have no clue what I actually want him to look like. And also sorry for the short and pointless history, but since he's an apprentice I didn't have much to put. More info will be added once he gets a mentor.
Same name disclaimer as always.
