Ripplerain shifted nervously. A mysterious cat in her clan? She wasn't told about this. She hoped it wouldn't bother them. Lostheart looked up at the leaders giving their reports. She knew about the mysterious cat, but she hasn't seen it yet. If it became an issue, then she would be ready.

Ooc: Yes, but Forestclan does. ANOUNCEMENT: I am leaving. I don't have enough tiem to post anymore, and someone needs to keep up with the Forestclan leadership, which I can't do. I can't take the spot any longer, making Forestclan inactive. Sorry guys, I may chat on the c-box every now and then.
Ic: Sandstar padded into the clearing, the rest of her patrol streaming behind her. "Sorry part of my clan is late." She called, leaping up onto the High Wall. "We had some trouble with a loner along the way." The last part she said quietly to the other leaders, before realizing it was her turn to speak. She stepped forward and gave her report. "We have had a loner wandering a territory. It has stolen prey and seems to have wandered onto another clans territory, although it came back tonight as if knowing we were headed to the gathering. It attacked our elders on the patrol, stalling us on our way here. I don't know if it has done anything to your clans or not, but I would keep a wary eye out. Thankfully, some of the patrol was able to come ahead of us while we fended off this new threat." Sandstar gazed around at the now murmuring crowd. "Other than that, we have no shortage of prey and no other threats." She stepped back and looked at Skystar and Brownstar. Gazing into their eyes, she determined that they had noticed this loner also, but it hadn't done anything to them.

Skystar watched as the Fireclan leader spoke, saying that he hadn't spotted a loner anywhere on the territory, and that everyone was healthy and eating plenty. He then stepped back, and the gathering ended. Skystar padded to the back of the wall where, hidden by shadows, she waited for Brownstar.
Sandstar jumped down from the rock, waving her tail for the others to follow her. She exited the island and crossed the old tree, headed back for her territory.
Ooc: I'll roleplay Sandstar for now, and then she'll have some tragic accident where she loses her last life, (we'll pretend she already lost them all to this and that) and dies.

Lostheart got up and nudged Ripplerain. "Time to go back home," she said. "Wait, what about Skystar?" Ripplerain asked. "She'll be fine." Lostheart said. "Let's just go on." She started to walk back, and Ripplerain uneasily followed.
Ooc: So... Bentfoot will become the leader of Forestclan?

Brownstar snarled at Sandstar's news as she arrived. Now this was a threat that he couldn't ignore. A rogue wandering the territories was something that he couldn't ignore, especially since the nursery currently held troublemaking kits. From now on, he had to be sure that they couldn't escape the clan. The elders would need protection too, perhaps by having a warrior escort them when they left the camp from now on. Oh, and he should increase patrols. To be honest, Brownstar would have preferred war with another clan. At least then he could actually find his enemy and bring glory to his clan. Noticing Skystar going behind the rock, he tore himself from his thoughts and walked after her. He sat down next to the leader. "Better make this quick so we can get back to our clans. I was going to ask for details about the rogue, but obviously now we need everything we know. What do you remember about the cat on your territory?"
Adderfoot hesitated as he saw that Skystar wasn't coming with the rest of the clan. However, he really didn't want to stay in small groups when there was a possibility of a rogue wandering the territories. With this in mind, he dashed after Lostheart and the rest of Skyclan.
Heronpaw kept close to Blazefoot, spooked but excited. "Is Forestclan really under attack?" he asked his mentor.
ooc// Well, Bentfoot's getting promoted sooner than I expected/wanted, but I can deal. I do request that you hold off killing Sandstar until a few more Forestclan warriors are created, because to be honest Blazefoot would not be Bentfoot's first choice for deputy.

Ooc: Oaktail has been created, so that provides a little bit more choice, and plus, I was planning on giving it some more time anyway. I'm going to make up a scene where the loner attacks another Forestclan patrol and Sandstar dies in the attack. Will be posting the plot soon. (This is getting good! :3)
Ic: Skystar waited until Brownstar had gotten comfortable before opening her mouth. She listened to him speak for a second before replying. "There wasn't much to see, the patrols that saw this cat didn't get a good look. But from what I know, I mostly thought this cat was scoping out the area first. But it looks as if he is done with that and has started giving off attacks. How this cat deterred Sandstar this long, keeping her from the gathering beats me, maybe it had help. I'll ask her about that later. Now, I also am led to believe that this cat is a she-cat. That's mostly all I know, but I'll keep my eye out and tell me patrols that if they see this cat to try and get a good look. Maybe we can find out something more." Skystar finished what she was saying, looking troubled about this new threat. "What have you seen?"
Blazefoot looked at his apprentice, herding Heronpaw deeper into the patrol. "I don't know for sure, but I think there is some sort of threat out there. You better keep an eye out." His gaze kept shifting from the patrol to the surrounding area as if he expected the loner to pop out any moment.

Brownstar's frown deepened. "That IS troubling. By the sounds of it, the rogue had to have help. Even if they attacked the elders, it shouldn't take them that long to fight one cat off. Why a lone cat would attack a huge group like that is another question, unless they were confidant that they would have help or be able to achieve their goals by themselves. And even I'm not arrogant enough to think that I could fight off an entire clan by myself." He glanced around, checking that no other cats were around before continuing. "As for what we've seen, I haven't seen anything myself. But as far as I know, there have been three loners on our territory. The first got pretty far onto our territory before he was found and chased out. The patrol that found him could confirm that he was a tom, and as far as I remember he was some sort of dark color, brown or black. The other two stayed on the edges as far as we can tell. One was a smaller cat, the patrol didn't see much of it, but they think that they saw white on the cat. I don't know how much. They could have been your she-cat by the sounds of it. The third actually appeared only a day or so ago. They left before anyone could get more than a glimpse of them. All that the patrol saw was some rustling branches and a shadow of some cat leaving. Apparently this cat had a different scent than the other two, so we could tell they were all different cats. None of them did anything, but for all we know they could have been scoping out Lightningclan too. I'll be sure to tell our patrols to watch out for all these cats." After finishing he stood up, even more disturbed as he realized the possible meanings of those intrusions. "Anyways, if you don't have any more info, we should get back to our clans. Thanks for the info." The leader turned to leave.

Skystar nodded. "Thanks for yours." She stood up and left, bounding through the clearing after her clan's patrol. After tonight's events and this new news, she was worried that something would happen to her clan while she was gone. Her paws beat against the ground like drums as she haphazardly raced across the tree over the water and through her territory.

Shypool heaved herself to her paws and stretched.A rogue?This was bad.She would also need a warrior escort.She turned her blue eyes to silverpelt for answers, but no answer came."Starclan must know we can handle this," she murmed, falling in step beside Sandystar as they began the journey home.But, what if something were to happen to her?They had no backup med if the rogue killed her.She let out a shudder, turning to Sandystar."What are we going to do about the rogue?"

Sandstar gazed back at her faithful medicine cat. "I'm not sure. I'll see if I can talk to Skystar about it, but for now we will just have to keep an eye out and hope whoever they are won't try to attack us again.I will personally make sure to tell the hunting and border patrols to keep an eye out and chase off any loner intruders as quickly as possible."
Skystar quickly caught up to her patrol. "There you are." She panted. "I talked to Brownstar, and he has seen three different cats, one of which he thinks is the loner we saw. We will have to be very careful." This Skystar said to Lostheart and Adderfoot. "Tomorrow when you organize patrols, tell them to chase off any loners. I don't want some random cats finding out our clan secrets." She said to Lostheart, before taking the lead of the patrol and heading back to their camp.
