Sandstar stopped at the top of the hill before Star Island. She looked up at the stars in the sky, then headed down, climbing across the log to the island. She jumped onto the rock and dirt wall. Sand star looked around. "Good." She thought. "We are the first ones here." Sandstar saw Shypool pad onto the island. "Ah, Shypool!" She called, jumping down for a quick moment. "Is everyone here?"

Skystar glided over the hill and onto the island. She turned around, surveying her warriors as they leaped and climbed along the trunk behind her. She brushed past the bushes and looked around. Spying Sandstar jumping down, she purred and went over to greet her.
"Hi Sandstar!" She called, looking around for the other clans. "I wonder when they are coming." She thought, then left her thoughts behind to chat with Sandstar.

Shypool looked at the crowd of cats behind Skystar, there were a lot.Hearing her leader's voice, she responded."I think that's everyone,"she counted.She padded over to her leader."That's everyone,we only need the other clans"she responded to Sandstar, still gazing at the cats.She padded up to Skystar, watching all the cats, still nervous."Hi Skystar,all your cats fine?" she asked the leader.

"Yes, Shypool, my clan cats are fine." Skystar said, smiling at the young medicine cat. She touched Sandstars nose, greeting her with a purr. "How are you, old friend?"
She looked around, once again sniffing the air for a scent of the other clans. "Where IS Fireclan and Forestclan? They haven't shown up yet." She looked questioningly at Sandstar, then shrugged. "Ah well, we can wait." She purred again, and sat down, beckoning Sandstar and Shypool to do the same.

Shypool let out a gigglish purr."We ARE forestclan,"she laughed quietly, biginning to open up.For the first time she felt comfortable around all the cats, she felt safe, she started to realise that everyone makes mistakes.Shypool sat down, joining in the conversation.She glanced back, the other clans weren't there."They're quite late" she murmered.She scanned the area about a second later, she began to feel anxous.And suddenly, her thoughts came pouring out."Ooh no!What if they are hurt, what if they all battled a fox and died!"she didnt even mean to say, but did."Oh, i've done it again!I'm sincerely sorry, sometimes i say things that don't make any sense at all" she batted herself with her paw.She shut her muzzle when she felt eyes on her pelt.  |

Skystar laughed, "I'm sorry, your right. You are Forestclan. I'm just worried, thats all." She purred, listening to what Shypool said. "It's fine, that actually does make sense, just not right now." Skystar stood up and stretched her limbs. "They're probably fine. We can wait a bit."
She sat down again, checking her warriors to make sure she had everyone there. "Good, I have everyone." She thought as she talked to Shypool, smiling at the young cat. "She may be new, but she is fun." She smiled comfortingly at Shypool.

Sandstar padded up. "I'm sorry, your right. You are Forestclan. I'm just worried, that's all." She heard Skystar say. She sat down to join in the conversation, nodding her head at Shypool. Sandstar purred. "Yes, she's right, Shypool. Someone COULD be killed by a fox. Especially since the clans are new and are more vulnerable to attacks like those. Hopefully, though, nothing has happened and they are just being late and lazy." Sandstar grinned. "Not unlikely." She thought in her head, making sure not to it out loud.
She shifted her paws, feeling restless. Sniffing the air, she caught the scent of Fireclan and Lightningclan. "Here they come!" She said, standing up and padding over to the rock wall. She climbed up and sat on the top, watching Skystar elegantly glide up.

"What will it be like, to have an apprentice?" she pondered into her thoughts, unaware of everything around her.She was now deep into her mind, daydreaming of seeing her mother again, she missed her, but didn't want her to be dead."Maybe,"she began aloud, "she's with starclan".Shypool was so deep in thought, that she forgot where she was.She was in her mind, halfway asleep.She thought she saw her father, but wasn't sure."He's DEAD" she meowed aloud again, still not knowing she was talking aloud."Night" a voice whispered to her, she smelled a peculiar smell that smelled of a twoleg, but familiar."Night, come back to me,"a voice hissed, yet in a sad tone.Shypool looked up, a cat stood before her, black as night."Mom!"she meowed in shock.Shypool woke hissing "Nooo!I'm not Night anymore!" as loud as she could.  . "Sorry Night,is my kittypet name" she meowed."I talk in my sleep", she began, I'm drama, drama, drama".She giggled feeling at home. |

Skystar tilted her head, listening to what Shypool was saying. "What the... What does she mean? Who is Night?" She thought, then understood. "Sorry Night,is my kittypet name. I talk in my sleep." Skystar smiled and nodded. "Oh, OK."
Skystar glided up onto the rock wall. She watched as Lightningclan came in. Purring, she meowed "Finally. They took their sweet time." As their leader jumped up onto the Highrock, she stood up, ready to start the meeting. "Skyclan is doing well, and we are all strong and healthy." She said, then backed up so Sandstar could speak.

Shypool shifted her ears towards Sandstar, waiting for her to speak.She sat with all of the medicine cats when the two leaders decided to go up to speak aloud.She looked into her eyes,searching for fear or nervousness,but could not read minds.She thought about her mother,dead and gone."Well Sandstar is like a mother." she thought.She pondered about all her siblings, dead too.Shypool caught herself about to ponder deeper, and started to pay more attention.And shifted her ears back to the leader, paying attention to try to find any signs of nervousness.

Sandstar padded forward. She looked down at the clans, noticing Shypool's face staring up at hers, waiting. "We found a fox recently, but we chased it off." She fell silent until the murmurs subsided, then continued. "We also found scents of a rogue, so be on the lookout. Otherwise, Forestclan is doing well, and we are strong." She stepped back and dipped her head to Lightningclan's leader, inviting him to start.
Sandstar sat down on the rock and listened to Lightningclan's leaders report, showing no expression on her face as she watched him. He finished his report and stepped back, allowing the Fireclan leader to step forward and give his report. He spoke, then finished and jumped down. Standing up, Sandstar followed him. Her legs bunched and then stretched as she leaped down to the cold earth. Looking up at the moon, she saw a cloud drift across the sky, right in front of it, just for a second. "It couldn't mean anything." Sandstar prayed to herself, hoping she was right. Bringing her head back down, she realized her clan was ready to go, so she flicked her tail and headed for the exit to the island, not waiting for her clan to follow.

Shypool glanced at her leader as she stared at the moon,and then anxously looked down.Shypool couldn't help but look up.Shypool saw a cloud halfway across the moon.Shypool caught up a pace with Sandstar.
"Is it important?"Shypool suddenly became very sober."Maybe it represents some troubles of the future in wich we'll persue".Shypool looked at the anxous look on the leader's face."If its anything at all, then Starclan will tell me when all medicine cats go to talk with them.Shypool looked down"Why do Starclan talk with medicine cats instead of the leaders?"

Skystar listened to the Fireclan leader's report, then stood up and leaped off the Highwall. She padded over to her medicine cat and chatted with her for a minute before padding towards the exit to the Island, kinking her tail for her clan to follow. She jumped up into the air, gliding over the heads of the other clan cats. The wind rushed past her, but she didn't mind, just kept on going. Skystar landed gently at the edge of the log leading to the island, her clanmates landing around her.
As they padded off, Skystar heard a sound, and sniffed the air, but only smelled Skyclan. She stopped, motioning for her clan to go on. She looked around, searching for the mysterious sound. She heard a twig snap, and whirled around, sure there was something there. But she saw nothing, Finally, after standing there for about a minute, she shrugged and padded back towards camp.
